The Path of the Most Resistance

Some airplanes fly because they are pushing air downward. But most of them fly because they are pushing air upward. Don’t believe me? Look here.

This is beautiful. It fits so well:

Like an airplane, we are placed inside a fluid environment. For airplanes, that’s air. For us, that's reality. Air is fluid because you can move your hand inside it. Reality is fluid, because it’s up to us which direction it goes in.

So when we move with enough force and the right design so that we move our fluid environment upward, we move upward as well. Sure, there’s going to be a lot of drag, inertia and friction—and take-off isn’t so easy either. But all that is just evidence that you’re getting somewhere.

Basically that means: Take life head-on. Instead of avoiding all the stress, wear and tear of life, use it to your advantage. Let it all just carry you higher.

I’m trying to think of some examples. But maybe you have one yourself?

Both are equal!
Both the hot air balloon and the plane are of equal value. One can help give the necessary momentum to move to the next level. Be blessed where you are.

The path of most resistance.
I believe that it's up to the person who has to chose which way to go for himself. It is very powerful to be like an airplane, but it can be beter to be like a hot air ballon for somepeople. I know this becuase my Rebbi told me that when a person choses a yisheva to go to he sees what is beter for himself. Sometimes it can be beter for someone to go to a yisheva learns very fast and covers alot of ground. Other times it can be more useful to go to a yisheva and learn the deeper meanings and the more difficult understandings. So too, a person must chose from either a hot air ballon or an airplne.

Hot air balloon:
slow but can enjoy the slowness
can go higher than an airplane
quiet and calm

Airplane:
fast
ruff
loud
covers alot of ground in little time

A person must chose for himself his path.

the path of most resistance
Making lemonade from lemons...a little piece of lemon in water or water all by itself. All have a purpose and can be used to refresh. Lemon alone is quiet different in or by itself.. but when added to something can add alot of flavor to life. Rising above the circumstances..balloons, airplanes or rockets..use what is in your life at any particular time..and overcome, not be overcome.
