Everyone is invited to "get your hands in the dough" says Chanie Rapoport, coordinator of the Chabad Challah bake event scheduled to take place on Tuesday evening May 15th—Rosh Chodesh Sivan, 7:30 pm at the Chabad Fayettville location—in Fayetteville Square, 511 East Genesee Street.

Participants will share in the mixing and kneading of the Challah dough Then get to shape their own challah and take it home to bake.

The evening will give the participants the opportunity to learn how to make Challah and hear a bit about the history and heritage of this traditional delicious food. “Nothing tastes quite as good as homemade Challah, especially when you are cutting into it around your own Shabbat table.”

Registration is necessary as space is limited to the first 15 people that sign up. The program is open to participants of all ages over the age of 12.

You may register for this event by emailing Chanie at [email protected] or by phone 315.424.0363 and leave a message. Preregistration cost is $12, or $15 at the door.
